Security & Confidentiality
Information security is a top priority when handling personally identifiable donor information and drug test results—whether mandated by HIPAA or laboratory accreditation bodies. Sageful is committed to keeping data secure and making sure Donor information is kept confidential—both inside and outside your organization. Sageful’s TrackMyResults™ has a number of features and options to meet your information security needs:
- Confidential Email: TrackMyResults offers a confidential email application right within its online service. Sending secure email can be done with just the click of a button. A secure email is a regular email; however, it only contains a link to the TrackMyResults site and a brief, non-confidential explanation of why the email was sent. To learn more, the user clicks the link, types in their name and password and only then can view the confidential data. The bottom line is that the confidential information never leaves the TrackMyResults web site, and that it can only be viewed by authorized Users who have entered their name and password.
- Confidential Reporting: Reports generated by TrackMyResults can also be confidentially forwarded as described above: the recipient clicks the report link in their email message, types their name and password, and then views the report on the TrackMyResults web site.
- Private Donor Information: Simply by checking the ‘Private to Team’ box, TrackMyResults enables a user to keep a Donor’s information private and only available to those on the Donor’s “team” (those with specific permission to view such information). From then on, whenever that Donor’s data would otherwise be displayed to someone not on the Team—in a report, in a search result list, in a group roster— TrackMyResults replaces all of the personally identifiable info with “*****”.
- Confidential Search: Unlike other systems, when a TrackMyResults User initiates a search, they are only given results for Donors for whom they have been explicitly authorized as a member of the Team.
- Encrypted Database Fields: To provide multiple levels of information security, all passwords and social security numbers in the database are encrypted using 128-bit encryption technology.
- Secure HTTP: Sageful embraces all industry-standard Internet security technologies by leveraging https over 128-bit encrypted SSL on all of its password protected sites. Once a User logs into the TrackMyResults™ web site, that User will be guaranteed a secure connection until they log out of the site.
- Additional Security Enhancements: Future versions of TrackMyResults will allow all personally identifiable Donor fields to be encrypted and will enable partners to store their data on either the TrackMyResults site or their own (allowing for complete physical control of their data).
